For peace of mind and to avoid unexpected repair costs, we encourage families to purchase the optional $30 Chromebook Protection Plan by January 16th. This plan covers up to two incidents of accidental damage during the 2025-2026 school year. To sign up, plans can be purchased through SchoolCash Online. The link is attached. 🚀 Engineering in Action in 3rd Grade! 🛠️🌊
Mr. Tilbe’s third graders have been learning all about simple machines. Today they used their knowledge to build contraptions that could move a payload safely into a boat.
Using cardboard, cups, yarn, ramps, tape, and LOTS of teamwork, our young engineers sketched, built, tested, redesigned, and celebrated every success along the way. Their creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration muscles got a real workout! 💚🦅✨

Mrs. Bridges' second graders worked together to solve problems and use their math skills in a Connect 4–style game with sticky notes. The match ended in a tie, but with all that teamwork and problem-solving, everyone walked away a winner!

On Veterans Day, this coming Tuesday, we will be having a Spirit Day: Red, White, and Blue Day. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, or blue for our whole school assembly and program for Veterans.
Our Fall Picture Day retakes are this coming Friday, November 14th.
This coming week, we will be having our next fire drill. Please take a moment to review fire safety with your children.
Last week we announced that we will be hosting a Holiday Market this year. Thank you to all of the businesses that have signed up to be a vendor at the event. In addition to the actual Holiday Market at Emerald Hill on December 17th, we want to put together an EHE family light tour! Thank you in advance for considering signing up and sharing your holiday spirit.

Emerald Hill is super excited to announce that we will be having a Holiday Market this year. On December 17th, we will be hosting a magical night of holiday pictures, crafts, and family shopping. If you would like to be part of the magic and have a small business, we are looking for vendors for our Holiday Market. Please see the flier for more information.
