Students in Mrs. Dillon’s 3rd Grade class studied the civilization of Ancient Greece to learn how their contributions have influenced our world today! Mrs. Gomez's kindergarteners have been learning about graphing and addition story problems. They are beginning subtraction story problems this week as well! Mrs. Koch's class celebrated World Pokemon Day last week. Students were each given five Pokemon cards to trade. They used their reading skills to learn more about each creature. Shout out to Ms. Rozwadowski for introducing a new club to our stallions, Sketch Club! Sketch Club is a group of 4th and 5th grade students exploring art, trying new things, and having fun with friends. Taking time to draw or doodle can help us relax and focus. A sketchbook can become a personal collection of drawings and ideas. Last week the students learned how to build Zentangle patterns and use a magical blending tool!

Mrs. Vasil's 3rd grade class were detectives trying to solve math mysteries with their buddies. They did multiplication, 3 digit addition/subtraction and word problems as they tried to figure out "whodunit". As they finished their first set of mystery clues, they received their next clue to narrow down who stole the candy. The students had so much fun trying to race the other teams to see who could solve the clues first!
