NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Culpeper County School Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal 2025 budget for Culpeper County Public Schools on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the County Administration Office, 302 N. Main Street. Parents and citizens are encouraged to provide input regarding their views of the educational needs of our students and priorities of our school division. The School Board believes strongly that community input is vital to the budget process. All concerned Culpeper County citizens are encouraged to attend the School Budget Public Hearing.

Happy Sunday Emerald Hill Eagles! We are super excited to host our Staff Talent Show this coming Thursday, February 22nd at 5:30pm in our Gymnasium. At the Staff Talent Show, different teachers and teams will put on performances for a fun time! We will have concessions available for sale by cash only and we will be having a live auction for students to pie a couple special staff members during the event. Students will also get to vote on winning performances. All proceeds of the event will go towards making this year's Teacher Appreciation Week even more special for our staff. Mrs. Bridges' class had a video call with author Ann Marie Stephens for World Read Aloud Day. She shared her book Arithmechicks Play Fair, a book about fractions. They got to ask questions about what it's like to be an author, where she gets her ideas from, and more!

Happy Sunday Emerald Hill Eagles! We had a great full week of school this week and we enjoyed celebrating being 100 days smarter! It is always nice to be in the building and see all the happy faces in the hallway! This coming week we will be practicing a high level threat drill. During the drill, the office will not be able to answer the door or phones. Happy Sunday Emerald Hill Eagles! This is Dr. Gelbert. SCA will be having a Spirit Day tomorrow, December 18th. The Spirit Day is Candy Cane Day. Students are encouraged to wear either red or white on Monday in support of one of the candy cane colors. We will be announcing the winning team, either red or white, during an assembly on Monday. Culpeper County High School’s Band and Choir will be joining us Monday for a holiday concert. We are looking forward to welcoming them to our school and listening to their amazing performance. Huge thank you to our Emerald Hill community for coming together to help our neighbors in need during the holidays. We collected more than 6200 items for the Culpeper County Christmas Basket Program! Luckily they brought more than one vehicle because it would not have all fit in the trailer!

Emerald Hill has been participating in the Culpeper Christmas Basket Program and we can’t believe the amount of items that have been turned in already. We have raised over 4,000 items!
